Accounting teams at large brokers process hundreds or thousands of uniquely accessed and formatted carrier statements every month. These statements are sometimes sent via email or snail mail, but a majority are accessed via carrier websites. Logging in to these websites to locate and organize statements is rife with headaches, especially at scale.
Comulate’s Vault automates the management of carrier portal logins, streamlining the process of locating, retrieving, and preparing commission statements.
Enabled as a browser extension, Vault securely stores and presents encrypted portal credentials when accessing a carrier website. Common MFA headaches are solved, as Vault receives and displays authentication codes sent via email and phone.
Vault also detects when new credentials are used, automatically keeping portal access details updated across a team. Whereas password managers stop at login, Vault automates organizing, naming, and uploading statements.
“Vault is a huge upgrade from our prior process—saving us hours a day gathering statements and preparing statements to process.”
– Vicky Morgan, Cobbs Allen
Vault, as an extension of Comulate, provides the option to directly import statements from a portal to Comulate. Comulate automatically applies naming conventions, as customized by the agency, eliminating the need for manual file download, naming, and uploading.
Statements imported from Vault, appear in Comulate alongside those from email or scanned snail mail, providing a unified, largely automated layer for processing a majority of production data.
Vault is a core component of Comulate’s expansive vision to create a more exciting future for large broker accounting and is the foundation for several exciting updates to come.
